In 2006, the Silang community's request for a branch campus of Cavite State University was granted[^1^][1]. The campus was established with a focus on building a guaranteed future and initially offered six curricular programs[^2^][2]. Today, CvSU Silang offers a diverse range of programs including BS in Business Management, Tourism and Resort Management, Computer Science, Landscape Design and Management, Hotel and Restaurant Management, and a Diploma in Hotel and Restaurant Management. The campus is also home to the Department of Information Technology, the Department of Arts and Sciences specializing in BS Psychology, and the Teacher Education Department.
